Last week, the Company announced a Voluntary Retirement Program (VRP), commonly referred to as a “buyout”, for non-union employees. The VRP was then later proposed to Locals G-555, 69, and 50. Your G-555 Executive Committee had many questions and concerns regarding the program, and after much consideration and some back-and-forth with the Conpany, they voted unanimously for the Membership to participate in the VRP. Does this include any who retired a few months ago. All of us were waiting on this.
